Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Rondo Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Project Delivery Team in Madrid, Spain. This role is pivotal in coordinating and executing Rondo’s large-scale thermal energy storage projects, contributing to the decarbonization of industrial heat. The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate with various teams, including Project Managers, technology development, operations, and supply chain, ensuring seamless project execution.Responsibilities include:

• Technical Execution Oversight: Ensuring design aligns with specifications and meets quality standards.
• Technical Project Management: Implementing and managing early-stage engineering studies.
• Communication: Collaborating with Rondo personnel, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Project Coordination: Coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Quality Assurance: Reviewing project technical deliverables.
• Reporting: Tracking and reporting progress on project deliverables.
• Compliance: Identifying applicable project permits and coordinating technical deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering or project engineering.
• Extensive knowledge in project development and delivery of large-scale capital energy projects.
• Technical skills to perform engineering & design of supporting infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with engineering & design software.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
