Security Analyst Intern

Job Description

CloudSEK, a cybersecurity product company, is seeking a Security Analyst Intern to join their team in Bengaluru. The intern will contribute to improving the company's security posture and automation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and respond to alerts generated by CloudSEK products.
• Identify potential scams, phishing attempts, and fraudulent activities.
• Document vulnerabilities and security weaknesses.
• Collaborate with internal security and research teams.
• Stay current with the latest vulnerabilities and industry trends.
• Update clients on their security posture and emerging threats.
• Assist in creating and maintaining internal knowledge base articles.
• Gather customer feedback for product enhancements.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and the cyber threat landscape.
• Familiarity with cyber security products, including SIEM, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or security analytics, is highly desirable.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH) are a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability management tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Customer-centric mindset and passion for customer service.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role is a plus.
