aCommerce is seeking a Specialist for People & Places to manage HR and administrative matters for Malaysia and Singapore. The role reports to both the Regional HR Director and local CEO. The candidate will work closely with regional teams and lead regional HR projects.
Role Involves:
Key PIC for operations at Malaysia and Singapore locations
Supporting multiple departments across the business
Reporting to Regional Lead and supporting on regional projects
Driving HR initiatives across 2 markets in South East Asia
Frequent travel to Singapore
Managing HR operational functions including benefits, onboarding/offboarding, talent management, and employee relations
Managing administrative matters including Purchasing, Insurance, Office and Equipment Maintenance, and General Affairs
Ensuring compliance with local employment laws in Singapore and Malaysia
Preparing contracts for new hires, promotions, and transfers
Working with local vendors for payroll and benefits administration
Managing contractor/vendor documents
Ensuring data accuracy for HRIS
Supporting foreign employees with visa/work permit matters
Driving employee engagement programs for Malaysia and Singapore
Performing special projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or Business
Minimum 2-3 years of HR operations experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Excel
Independent and proactive
Well-organized and meticulous
Strong personal and professional ethics & values
Problem solver with a positive attitude
Experience in employee relations, labor laws, and talent management preferred
