Job Description
Wayve is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the development and delivery of its L2+/L3 autonomous driving solutions. The Product Manager will own key product initiatives from concept through deployment, aligning Wayve’s AV2.0-based approach with the requirements of automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders. This role involves working cross-functionally with R&D, safety, validation, and commercial teams to shape a scalable, regulation-aware AV product strategy.
Role involves:
- Defining and owning the product roadmap for Level 2 and Level 3 autonomous driving features.
- Working closely with system architects, software developers, validation teams, and safety experts.
- Taking full end-to-end ownership of AV feature development.
- Translating regulatory and safety requirements into clear product specifications.
- Staying current with global AV trends and regulatory developments.
- Supporting verification & validation, safety case development, and type approval processes.
- Acting as the product lead in internal reviews and external engagements.
Requirements:
- 2-4 Years of hands-on experience with Level 2+ or Level 3 autonomy.
- Structured and systems-level thinker.
- Strong technical background in AI/ML, software engineering, robotics, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to break down complex systems into clearly defined, testable, and scalable product requirements.
- Experience owning end-to-end delivery of AV features.
- Familiarity with key AV regulations such as UN R79, DCAS.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
