Wayve is seeking a Software Engineer, Reliability Engineering to ensure the robustness and resilience of its AI-driven autonomous vehicles. This role involves establishing operational excellence and best practices to revolutionize urban mobility. The candidate will be instrumental in fortifying the backbone of Wayve's AI-driven autonomous vehicles, ensuring they're robust, resilient, and ready to revolutionise urban mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the seamless operation of autonomous vehicles on public roads.
- Develop tools and automation to streamline operations and fleet management.
- Develop key metrics and monitoring/logging systems.
- Craft solutions that set new industry benchmarks.
- Spearhead the adoption of forward-thinking tools and technologies.
- Champion automation to continuously elevate efficiency.
Requirements:
- Over 8 years experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
- Expertise in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Solid foundation in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Expert of CI/CD processes, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of networking, distributed systems, and databases.
- Expert with monitoring and troubleshooting utilities (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk, Humio, etc.).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Outstanding communication abilities.
