Outlier is seeking a talented freelance writer with fluency in South African English to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This is a remote, flexible opportunity.
The role involves:
- Reading South African English text and ranking AI-generated responses.
- Writing short stories in South African English.
- Assessing the factual accuracy of AI-generated English text.
- Using knowledge of South African English slang and colloquialisms to train the AI model.
Requirements include:
- Experience as a professional translator.
- Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
- Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's degree at a top university.
Outlier offers:
