Head of Office & Facility Management

Job Description

IMC is seeking a Head of Office & Facility Management to oversee its Amsterdam office. The ideal candidate will be both hands-on and strategic, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and facilities while also developing long-term strategies for space utilization and hybrid work models. This role involves managing the Facilities and Office Management team and acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.IMC is a global trading firm known for its cutting-edge research environment and technology. • Ensuring smooth onboarding/offboarding experiences.
• Managing desk planning and allocation.
• Resolving seating requests and conflicts.
• Developing and implementing a longer-term vision for desk strategy.
• Overseeing coordination of meeting rooms and desk bookings.
• Leading the Facilities and Office Management team.
• Creating and driving the strategy for travel bookings.
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.
• Keeping the office informed of workplace disruptions.
• Driving continuous improvement through feedback collection.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in office/facility management.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing vendor ecosystems.
• Skilled communicator, listener, and facilitator.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Visionary and pragmatic approach to space utilization.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
