QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

PALO IT is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure product quality through the definition and implementation of testing strategies. The candidate will collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to enhance automated and manual testing efficiency. This role involves defining quality standards, leading the QA team, and optimizing test solutions across various platforms.

Role Involves:
• Defining and establishing quality standards and testing strategies.
• Providing direction, mentoring, and coaching to the QA team.
• Collaborating with the DevOps team to optimize test solutions.
• Overseeing all QA activities, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Supporting capacity planning and performance optimization for testing activities.

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in automated testing environments.
• Strong background in test automation using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for front-end and JMeter, K6, or Rest-assured for back-end.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle within agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java and experience with scripting for API testing in tools like Postman and version control with Git.
• Ability to perform complex SQL queries for database insights and log analysis in DevOps pipelines or tools like Datadog.
• Experience collaborating directly with technical leaders, project managers, and business analysts.
• Fluent in English (B2 level or higher).
