DFIR Recovery Specialist

Job Description

At-Bay, an InsurSec company, is seeking an experienced Incident Response Recovery Specialist to join their Response & Recovery team. This role involves supporting the remediation team and reporting to the Incident Response Engineer. The specialist will be accountable for increasing the maturity and effectiveness of cybersecurity incident response and recovery processes. They will gain an end-to-end understanding of the client landscape, collaborate with global and local teams, and consult with external experts. The role also includes providing security expertise, identifying gaps in controls, and driving risk reduction activities.Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and driving efforts to improve cybersecurity incident response.
• Maintaining an understanding of client networks and systems.
• Collaborating with security and IT teams.
• Providing security expertise in incident reviews.
• Identifying gaps in detection and response controls.

Requirements:

• Great educational background in computer science or engineering.
• Proven experience as a project administrator in IT.
• Solid technical background in Windows, Linux, and OSX.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with network devices, security, and programming languages.
