Takealot.com, South Africa’s leading online retailer, is seeking an Operational Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. This role involves root cause analysis of operational issues, preparing reports, identifying cost-saving areas, and resolving system inefficiencies. The ideal candidate will work with various levels within the business to resolve issues, conduct training for end-users, and maintain system integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Root cause analysis of operational issues

Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related field, and a minimum of 3 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment is required.
- Good database knowledge, including the ability to write and optimise complex queries.
- SQL Scripting experience.
- In-depth understanding of best practices relating to system support and monitoring
- Customer-centric approach
- Proactive and energetic attitude
- Good communication skills
