Technical Product Owner

Job Description

NMI is seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive the execution of its product strategy and roadmap, focusing on billing systems and data infrastructure. The Product Owner will manage initiatives, facilitate agile ceremonies, and bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role involves hands-on product launches and ensuring internal teams are well-equipped with new capabilities.

• Prioritizing the product backlog
• Developing user stories
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies
• Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Collaborating with other Product Owners
• Providing product training
• Gathering stakeholder requirements
• Writing and executing SQL queries
• Partnering with data engineering

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and tools
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL
• Skilled in Agile development frameworks and tools
• Experience conducting and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Effective communication skills
• Experience coordinating software release cycles
• Passion for understanding end users
