Job Description

Clear Street is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its Equity Swaps team in London. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and enhancing the Total Return Swaps platform, catering to a diverse client base including hedge funds, traders, and portfolio managers. This role involves tackling complex problems, implementing efficient solutions, and maintaining high operational standards.

The engineer will collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers in an agile environment to define and develop new features for the platform and client-facing Studio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engineering the Total Return Swaps platform.
  • Building highly available, horizontally scalable applications.
  • Collaborating with product managers and users to define new features.
  • Coordinating with a team of engineers on application components.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in related technology OR 3+ years in related technology AND business area.
  • Experience utilizing Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RDBMS, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), React, Typescript, microservice based server side application development.
  • Ability to create clean, concise, readable, maintainable code.
  • Effective and concise oral and written communication skills.
