Job Description

PayPay Card is seeking a legal professional to join its legal team. The company was established in 2021 to provide user-friendly fintech services, integrated with the PayPay payment platform, which has over 69 million users. The legal team, consisting of 9 members, aims to deliver high-quality services to support the company's growth, balancing performance and quality.

The role involves collaborating with team members on various tasks and eventually taking ownership of specific cases and consultations. The candidate will provide legal support to internal departments, review contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage intellectual property.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling legal consultations and investigations from various departments
  • Reviewing contracts and ensuring legal compliance of various contents
  • Supporting various internal projects
  • Handling regulatory compliance related to premiums and displays
  • Managing litigation, ADR, and legal responses to complaints
  • Managing intellectual property rights
  • Researching and planning measures for legal enactments and revisions
  • Conducting internal business verification and handling administrative responses
  • Handling legal matters related to the credit card business and money lending industry
  • Managing other general corporate legal affairs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of corporate legal experience
  • Experience in the financial industry (especially in money lending or credit card businesses) is a plus
