Job Description
PayPay Card Inc., established in 2021, aims to provide user-friendly fintech services by integrating with the PayPay platform. The company is looking for passionate professionals to join their accounting team and contribute to the expansion of cashless payments and financial life platforms in Japan.
The accounting department consists of two groups: the accounting group and the finance group, with a total of 12 members. The team values specialization and autonomy in carrying out accounting tasks.
Role Involves:
- Reviewing accounting treatment for new transactions.
- Documenting accounting treatment considerations.
- Improving and streamlining operations.
- Negotiating with audit firms.
Requirements:
- Experience in accounting audit or advisory services (3+ years, IFRS experience preferred).
- Experience in financial accounting at a company applying IFRS (3+ years, experience leading accounting treatment decisions).
- Certified Public Accountant or passed the CPA exam.
- Experience in accounting audit or financial accounting (3+ years).
- Experience researching and applying accounting standards.
- Experience in corporate tax and consumption tax filing.
- Experience leading business development or improvement.
- Japanese Bookkeeping Test Level 2.
