Platform - Senior Product Manager (Data Admin Experiences)

Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Platform Team, focusing on data admin experiences within the Elastic Stack and Elastic Cloud. This individual will define and deliver core services and components for search, observability, and security user experiences. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with Elastic Solution teams to create user experiences for data manager personas, simplifying data management in Elastic at scale. They will gather feedback from customers and the community, working closely with engineering and UI/UX designers on API design and technical specifications.Role involves:

• Defining the vision and strategy for Data Management in Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Partnering with Elastic Solution teams to deliver user experiences for data manager personas.
• Gathering feedback from internal and external customers.
• Working with engineering tech leads and UI/UX designers on API design.
• Developing detailed use-cases and product requirements.
• Defining and measuring product metrics.
• Supporting product marketing and sales enablement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably building solutions related to B2B / SaaS / Platforms.
• Knowledge of the Elastic Stack, particularly Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Experience in data management areas of SaaS data platform products.
• Ability to distill complex concepts into clear API designs and requirements.
• Strong sense for UX and technical design.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Experience or willingness to work in a distributed organization.
