Backend Developer (Python-Focused) – Part-Time to Full-Time (Flexible Hours)

Job Description

The company is looking for a Backend Developer with Python experience to join their team. This is a remote position based in Latam, with flexible hours starting at 3-4 hours per day and potential to increase. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, street-smart, and passionate about problem-solving using modern AI tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Integrate third-party services using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases.
• Collaborate on deploying services to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• Suggest and experiment with AI-based tooling for rapid development.
• Enhance backend architecture and development pipeline.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Python development.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with API integrations using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Java (Nice to have).
• Familiarity with AWS services (Nice to have).
• Awareness of Machine Learning, Agentic AI (Nice to have).
• Experience using AI-powered code generation tools (Nice to have).
