Gong is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to expand its business accounts and acquire new customers within the financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy industries. The ideal candidate will champion the entire sales process, using creative prospecting skills to pursue new business and navigate complex deals. Gong values those who challenge conventional wisdom and never settle for the status quo.
Role involves:
- Managing prospects from lead to close.
- Providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Articulating and demonstrating Gong's value proposition.
- Cultivating lasting relationships with customers.
- Running and implementing pilot programs.
- Maintaining weekly sales forecasts and achieving quota quarterly.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant closing experience, preferably selling to Financial Services, Healthcare, Consulting, Manufacturing, or Energy organizations.
- Located in Salt Lake City and willing to work in the office 3 days a week.
- Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience with a history of closing deals at $50-$250K+.
- Outbound prospecting experience into greenfield territory.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals.
- Comfortable selling to VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
