Job Description

HyperionDev is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead its paid media strategy and execution. The role involves driving customer acquisition and engagement through paid campaigns, aligning with overall marketing objectives. This is a hands-on position where the Digital Marketing Manager will manage paid media channels, optimize campaigns, and maximize ROI across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Reddit Ads.

The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and creative, to ensure campaigns are high-impact and cost-efficient. They will manage large ad budgets, implement optimization strategies, and lead performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead paid media strategy across multiple platforms.
• Manage day-to-day operations of paid campaigns, including setup, optimization, and scaling.
• Own and optimize paid media budgets for maximum efficiency and ROI.
• Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using tools like Looker Studio and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams to refine campaign messaging.
• Continuously assess the customer funnel and optimize paid campaigns to increase lead conversion rates.
• Manage relationships with key platforms (Google, Meta, etc.).
• Act as a mentor in a growing paid media team.
• Stay on top of industry trends and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing large-scale paid media campaigns.
• Proven experience in B2C marketing, ideally within the tech, education, or SaaS sectors.
• Strong command of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web analytics platforms.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting, managing multi-million rand annual budgets.
• Creative and strategic mindset with experience in A/B testing and creative optimization.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Action-oriented with a “roll up your sleeves approach”.
• A self-starter able to work independently and drive results.
