Job Description
FGS Global is seeking a Senior Associate, Health Communications to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day communications support on various health industry client accounts. This role involves writing and editing complex health communications materials, building media relationships, and assisting with media outreach strategies.Responsibilities include:
  • Serving as day-to-day communications support
  • Writing and editing complex health communications materials
  • Building and maintaining press lists
  • Assisting with media outreach strategies
  • Contributing to digital & social media platforms
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Contributing to new business efforts
  • Demonstrating strong client-relation skills
Requirements include:
  • A BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant agency or in-house experience
  • Familiarity and experience with health industry communications preferred
  • Extremely strong writing and communications skills
  • Superior research and editing skills
  • Ability to identify and cultivate key media contacts
  • Experience pitching stories to news outlets
  • Experience with rapid response efforts
  • Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning skills
  • Ability to project manage and multi-task
