FGS Global is seeking a Senior Associate, Health Communications to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day communications support on various health industry client accounts. This role involves writing and editing complex health communications materials, building media relationships, and assisting with media outreach strategies.Responsibilities include:
- Serving as day-to-day communications support
- Writing and editing complex health communications materials
- Building and maintaining press lists
- Assisting with media outreach strategies
- Contributing to digital & social media platforms
- Managing multiple projects
- Contributing to new business efforts
- Demonstrating strong client-relation skills
Requirements include:
- A BA/BS degree in a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant agency or in-house experience
- Familiarity and experience with health industry communications preferred
- Extremely strong writing and communications skills
- Superior research and editing skills
- Ability to identify and cultivate key media contacts
- Experience pitching stories to news outlets
- Experience with rapid response efforts
- Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning skills
- Ability to project manage and multi-task
