Job Description
Newsweek is seeking a Sr. Lifecycle Strategist to enhance audience loyalty. The strategist will work with content and audience teams to identify and build audience segments and create campaigns. The ideal candidate can comb through data for true insights and have a pulse on the metrics that will move the needle for the business.
  • Identifying and building audience segments.

  • Combing through data for insights.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing analysis, CRM marketing, or marketing automation.
  • Solid experience with customer segmentation models, predictive analytics, and utilizing ESP automation tools.
  • Familiarity with ESP-specific languages, including SailThru and its Zephyr language, and experience with API integrations.
  • Ability to mock up concepts and make email customizations using HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with audience tools such as CRM or CDP to segment cohorts of users.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a database of subscribers, build list segments, manage list hygiene, deliverability, and compliance.
  • Experience building reports, managing dashboards, and generating deep insights through audience data.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven ability to create, execute, and scale acquisition and retention campaigns.
  • Basic design capabilities, including mocking up concepts and making quick customizations with HTML and CSS.
