Job Description
Digibee is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to architect the data backbone that powers its business intelligence. This role involves designing, building, and managing Digibee’s internal data platform. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and leadership capability, with responsibility for shaping the data architecture, developing scalable data solutions, and driving the strategic use of data across the organization.
Role involves:
- Defining and implementing data management strategies.
- Building robust data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
- Developing and optimizing end-to-end ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Recommending and utilizing visualization tools to deliver actionable insights.
- Leading data engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in large-scale data management.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong skills in data modeling and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices (GDPR, LGPD, HIPAA, CCPA).
- Ability to forecast and manage costs associated with data tools and services.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
