Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Lead User Experience (UX) Designer to join their London team. The Lead UX Designer will be responsible for shaping the digital journeys of the company's clients' products, from concept to execution. He will collaborate with the team, navigate ambiguity, and balance priorities to meet goals.

The role involves:

  • Designing holistic systems, flows, and interfaces.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to other UX designers.
  • Leading discussions with stakeholders regarding feature design.
  • Balancing creative requirements with client business requirements.
  • Managing time effectively and executing according to commitments.
  • Anticipating upcoming client and team needs, identifying risks, and mitigating appropriately.
  • Contributing to team culture by acting as a coach and mentor to junior team members.

The requirements are:

  • 3-5 years of related industry experience in UX.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the role of senior UX designer or equivalent role.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal and client relation skills.
  • Experienced, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Thorough, detail-oriented, and highly organized working style.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
  • A deep appreciation and understanding of user experience.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating creative thinking, problem solving, process, and quality.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience with process and business analysis, software development and project processes large scale projects, documentation for development teams, application of content management, personalisation, targeting and search systems, and modular design systems.
