Senior Designer, Visual Design - Contract

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Designer, Visual Design to join their team in Cupertino. The Senior Designer will work closely with the client to create applications for a high-traffic website. This role focuses on maintaining branding and human-centered design throughout digital ecosystems.

The Senior Designer will be responsible for crafting creative concepts that translate visually across digital experiences. They will balance creative ideas with client business requirements and rationalize solutions to project teams.

Role involves:

• Designing digital solutions that meet strategic objectives
• Creating usable interface solutions focused on user experience
• Designing mood boards, storyboards, and interactive page layouts
• Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables
• Building rapport with creative team, account managers, and project managers
• Visualizing and verbalizing ideas to team and client

Requirements:

• 4-7+ years of working experience in digital design and interactive
• Strong digital design portfolio
• Developed communication skills
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking
• Solid knowledge of Mac OS, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Figma, Photoshop and Sketch expertise
• Understanding of After Effects, Sketch, Principle, information architecture, and hierarchy
• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web
• Illustration skills
