Job Description
Cresco Labs is seeking a Harvest Agent in Indiantown, FL, to contribute to the harvesting and initial processing stages of cannabis products. The Harvest Agent will ensure high quality and visual appeal of the product. This role involves working within the garden, monitoring dry rooms, and packaging fresh/frozen flower. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness, report quality control issues, and keep accurate records.
Role involves:
- Harvesting and processing cannabis products
- Plucking leaves before harvest
- Monitoring and controlling dry rooms
- Weighing and packaging fresh/frozen flower
- Bucking, weighing, bagging, tagging, and labeling product
- Hand-selecting product for optimal size, quality, and appearance
- Maintaining cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Reporting quality control issues
- Maintaining accurate records of harvested and processed product
Requirements:
- Two years of experience in general production, preferably in a regulated field producing for human consumption, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Ability to adhere to compliance, quality, departmental, and human resource guidelines
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to sit and perform bud removal with scissors for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
