Analyst, FP&A - The Orchard

Job Description

The Orchard is seeking an Analyst, FP&A to join their Strategy and FP&A team in New York. The Analyst will report to the Director, FP&A, and will be a strategic thought partner, influencing business decisions and driving growth across the organization. The role involves preparing reports, contributing to budgeting and forecasting, conducting insightful analyses, and implementing efficiencies.

• Prepare regular reports for business leaders
• Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
• Produce insightful analyses using financial and operational data
• Implement efficiencies and improvements in the FP&A function
• Stay current on market and industry trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or corporate strategy
• Experience analyzing financial statements and developing financial models
• Ownership mindset and pride in work
• Critical thinking skills
• Commercial and practical mindset
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills
• Familiarity with data platforms and financial systems preferred
