Job Description
Farther is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Agent to join their team. This role is pivotal in building autonomous agents that will revolutionize client service and automate intricate workflows. The Senior Software Engineer will design and deploy cloud-native systems, construct internal knowledge graphs, streamline operations, and enhance client experiences. This is a hands-on engineering role where the candidate will leverage their traditional finance background to build AI-powered solutions across data onboarding, project management, client experience, operations, client acquisition, and international securities trading support. They will work with Farther's established framework to rapidly develop agents that understand the nuances of financial workflows.

Role Involves:
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining autonomous AI agents using Python and AWS.
  • Building and scaling robust data pipelines using Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.
  • Deploying and managing high-performance workloads using AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, and related cloud services.
  • Collaborating with product and trading teams to integrate financial data models and business logic.
  • Constructing and maintaining internal knowledge graphs.
  • Monitoring agent performance and iterating for improvement.
  • Supporting trading operations in international securities through intelligent automation.
  • Driving technical decisions for agent architecture.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional Python development experience in a financial environment.
  • Strong background in traditional finance.
  • Proven experience building applications and systems in financial services.
  • Solid understanding of financial products and services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ambitious mindset with openness to AI.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.
