Job Description

Pismo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Credit Rights Squad in Brazil. This role involves developing digital receivables products for financial institutions, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to ensure high scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. The Senior Software Engineer will:

• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Implement comprehensive automated tests.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Improve and maintain existing codebases through code reviews.
• Define and evolve engineering best practices.
• Ensure adherence to development standards and application stability.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Proficiency in English at B1 level.
• Experience designing and developing high-availability systems using Java.
• Experience architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Experience defining and evolving microservices-based architectures.
• Experience building and scaling data-driven systems using relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience applying modern DevOps practices.
• Experience ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies.
