Job Description
Axon is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team. This role is client-facing and involves leading and maturing professionally in a fast-paced business environment. The Solutions Architect will collaborate with clients and project teams to design and deliver integrations that provide value to public safety partners. They will also implement processes to ensure quality, productivity, and client satisfaction.
The role involves:
- Working as a client-facing member of the Customer Enablement Team.
- Analyzing IT system architectures for technical projects.
- Managing technical projects remotely and at client sites.
- Communicating project progress to technical and non-technical leadership.
- Identifying integration opportunities between agency systems and Axon’s products.
- Recommending deployment plans for integrations.
- Capturing requirements and implementing third-party solutions.
- Writing code to leverage API capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions.
- Knowledge of APIs structures and systems integration (REST, SOAP).
- Intermediate skills in SQL, Python, Java, and Cloud (AWS and/or Azure).
- Networking knowledge and experience in implementations and integrations.
- Understanding of Linux frameworks, including containerization platforms (Docker preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies as well as software development packages and data management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks.
