Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II)

Job Description

LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance automation for LivePerson's most central and high-traffic UI group. This role involves designing and implementing automation systems, developing and maintaining advanced automation frameworks, and creating detailed automation strategies and scripts.

The SDET II will work closely with development teams to integrate automation processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle, diagnose issues, and refine automation systems. They will also develop expertise in CI/CD systems and advocate for best practices in automation across the team.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing automation systems for various software applications.
• Developing and maintaining advanced automation frameworks.
• Creating and managing detailed automation strategies and scripts.
• Spearheading the automation of processes and tasks across multiple platforms.
• Working closely with development teams to integrate automation processes.
• Diagnosing issues and refining automation systems.
• Developing expertise in CI/CD systems.
• Keeping up to date with emerging automation tools and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience in QA automation engineering or related fields.
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and systems (UI interfaces and API-based applications).
• Strong programming skills.
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools.
• Experience in developing and executing automation scripts.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
