Job Description
Xometry, a company connecting people with manufacturers, is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator for their Denver, CO location. This role involves providing excellent service to global partners and customers, ensuring a smooth order experience. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.Responsibilities:
  • Secures and analyzes quotations, negotiates prices with suppliers.
  • Actively monitor job board to understand status and feedback on all offers.
  • Keep track of partner offers - price and lead time.
  • Continuously update job offer tracking report.
  • Negotiate with partners on pricing and lead time.
  • Monitor for DFM feedback and discuss with partners.
  • Notify the Project Engineer regarding DFM feedback.
  • Coordinate orders that need decisions, daily with Operations and Sales Management.
  • Coordinate with post processing shops.
  • Contacts vendors and follows-up with carriers to ensure deliveries are on schedule.
  • Performs all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of purchasing concepts.
  • Proven ability to plan for and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.
  • Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.
  • Able to negotiate and solve problems.
  • Proficiency in computer skills to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the Internet.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with large diverse teams.
