Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Electrical System Design Engineer to join their ADAS team. This role involves leading the architecture and design of Lucid's computing platform hardware, focusing on electronics and electrical aspects. The engineer will be responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, board bring-up, debugging, design verification testing, signal integrity qualification, thermal and environmental testing, EMC/EMI testing, manufacturing support, and production deployment.
- Designing the computing platform hardware
- Overseeing PCB layout
- Supporting validation teams
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Participating in design reviews
- Proven track record of bringing automotive computing platform electronics design into production
- Extensive knowledge in EE fundamentals
- 3+ years of experience in ADAS and/or Autonomous Driving systems
- 7+ years in hardware design and development experience
- Proficiency in schematics capture and PCB tools
- Deep knowledge of SoC, DDR memory, UFS, eMMC, Ethernet Switch, PHY, I2C, SPI, CAN, MIPI, GMSL, etc.
