Job Description
Stone is seeking a Senior Financial Risk Analyst to join their team in São Paulo. Stone is a technology and financial services company focused on the customer. Stone is the largest independent payment company in Brazil.
The Financial Risk team's mission is to ensure Stone's long-term stability and financial health by identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks across various fronts. The team continuously manages the company's financial exposure, ensuring a solid and secure position in a highly competitive and regulated environment.
Role involves:
- Identifying, evaluating, and monitoring market and liquidity risks.
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses and preparing management reports.
- Preparing mandatory reports for regulatory agencies.
- Participating in the development of risk policies.
- Calculating MtM of derivatives and monitoring exposure by counterparty.
- Proposing hedging strategies and analyzing their effectiveness.
- Identifying market and liquidity risk exposure of new products and proposing mitigators and controls.
- Supporting the management of the Company's liquidity risk for adherence to applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in market risk management.
- Knowledge of financial products.
- Advanced knowledge in programming (e.g., R, Python, or VBA) for data analysis and process automation.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
