Outlier is seeking a skilled Applied Mathematician to contribute to the advancement of AI models through human feedback. The role involves leveraging expertise in mathematics to train generative artificial intelligence models. This is a remote, freelance opportunity with flexible hours, allowing individuals to work at their convenience.
The Applied Mathematician will play a crucial role in refining AI models by:
- Assessing the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.
- Crafting and answering questions related to Math.
- Evaluating and ranking domain-specific responses generated by AI models.
Outlier requires candidates to have:
- A bachelor's or higher degree in Math or a related subject
- Experience working as a Math professional
- Ability to write clearly about concepts related to Math in fluent English and Norwegian
Outlier offers:
- Flexible, remote work
- Pay rates for core project work range from $30 to $50 USD per hour
