Job Description
Convera, a global leader in commercial payments, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for their Singapore office. This role involves driving sales of complex products, hedging solutions, and FX across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will be tenacious and motivated, with a competitive mindset to build a pipeline of SME and Corporate clients.

Role Involves:
  • Building a pipeline of Small-to-Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) and Corporate clients
  • Achieving new business revenue by addressing their international payments and hedging needs
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities through cold calls, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, and partnerships
  • Managing the sales cycle up to client onboarding
  • Performing market analysis and attending industry events

Requirements:
  • 2-5+ years financial services sector experience in FX or payments
  • B2B sales experience
  • Experience in consultative selling, corporate negotiations, and customer acquisition
  • Strong understanding of bulk payment processing, international payments, accounting systems, and platform integration
  • Financially astute and proven ability to achieve or exceed KPIs and revenue targets
  • Fluent in English
