RAPP Detroit is seeking a Copywriter to join its Creative team. RAPP is a precision marketing agency that leverages data, creativity, technology, and empathy to foster client growth. The agency champions individuality in marketing solutions and in the workplace.
The Copywriter will be a conceptual thinker who can bring stories to life across digital channels and user journeys. They will partner with cross-disciplinary teams and creatives across every phase of development, from ideation to implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Create, present, and execute creative concepts across direct marketing channels.
- Use data-driven insights and tech innovation to inform creative ideas.
- Manage work efficiently and deliver on time and within budget.
- Produce work that exceeds client and agency expectations.
- Participate in creative department activities and training.
- Present copy and strategic concepts to senior team members and clients.
- Stay current with changes in technology.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in advertising (CRM a plus).
- Proven portfolio of spec, produced, and award-winning work.
- Expertise in digital and traditional mediums.
- Examples of long and short form copy.
- Excellent copywriting craft and conceptual thinking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
