Mid-Level Software Engineer | Billing

Job Description

Wellhub is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join its Billing team in Brazil. The company is a corporate wellness platform that connects employees to fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep resources. The Billing team is responsible for processing sales, subscription renewals, and revenue streams, creating records of customer receivables, and handling dunning processes. The team also manages global integrations with tax calculation engines and processes events from various sources to create accounting entries for Wellhub's ERP systems.

Role involves:

• Executing strategic projects with a software engineering team.
• Handling the company's revenue recognition process and accounting.
• Implementing, testing, and delivering solutions with a cross-functional team.
• Working closely with senior engineers and technical leadership.

Requirements:

• Foundational knowledge of RESTful APIs written in Java/Kotlin + Spring.
• Willingness to learn about event-driven architectures and serverless technologies.
• Software quality and test automation mindset.
• Knowledge of Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8s).
• Experience with SQL technology such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL technology such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with microservices.
• Good understanding of how to scale microservices.
