Jumia, a leading pan-African e-commerce platform, is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager in Egypt. This role involves managing inbound, inventory, and outbound processes to ensure efficient warehouse operations. The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for team management, cost reduction, and continuous process improvement. They will collaborate with various departments to optimize logistics and contribute to Jumia's mission of improving everyday life in Africa through technology.
Responsibilities: - Manage inbound processes and team, ensuring compliance and liaising with relevant departments.
- Oversee inventory processes, including performance management and storage capacity assessment.
- Manage outbound processes, including order fulfillment and capacity planning.
- Identify and implement cost reduction strategies across warehouse operations.
- Lead team management efforts, including capacity planning and performance appraisals.
Requirements: - Degree in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain, Economics, or Engineering.
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPS).
- Minimum of 5 years of FMCG or warehouse management experience.
- Relevant professional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (advantage).
- English proficiency.
