Outlier is seeking a talented Applied Mathematician to help train generative artificial intelligence models. This is a remote, independent contract opportunity with flexible hours.
The Applied Mathematician will contribute with their expertise to:
- Evaluating the factual accuracy and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models.
- Crafting and answering math-related questions.
- Evaluating and classifying domain-specific responses generated by AI models.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience working as a Mathematics professional.
- Ability to write clearly about mathematics-related concepts in fluent English.
