Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Cloud Native Architect to join their team in Madrid, Spain. This role focuses on scaling the adoption of Portworx solutions across Iberia, Italy, and LATAM. The Cloud Native Architect will work with enterprise and public sector customers to architect and evangelize cloud-native storage and data management strategies for Kubernetes-based applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Sales Specialists to drive technical pre-sales activities.
  • Lead discovery, demos, and architecture workshops.
  • Engage with stakeholders to articulate solution value.
  • Design architectures for deploying stateful applications in Kubernetes.
  • Guide customers through container adoption and data management workflows.
  • Support RFP/RFI processes and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer feedback.
  • Represent Portworx at industry events.
  • Travel as needed (up to 60%) across supported regions.


Requirements:
  • 5+ years in customer-facing technical architecture or pre-sales roles.
  • 4+ years in technical sales.
  • Success in technical sales cycles and customer engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Native or bilingual Spanish, with professional fluency in English and Italian.
  • 5+ years of Linux administration or development experience.
  • 3+ years of Kubernetes administration, with KCNA or higher certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes platforms and major cloud providers.
  • Experience with DevOps tools.
  • Understanding of data platforms and Day 2 operations in containerized environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application lifecycle.
