Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a System Engineer to support their commercial operations in Romania. This role is remote and focuses on enterprise storage solutions. The System Engineer will develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and promote Pure Storage solutions. They will refine sales strategies, provide technical leadership, and manage evaluations and benchmarks.

Role involves:
  • Developing customer understanding
  • Highlighting advantages of Pure Storage solutions
  • Refining sales strategy
  • Managing evaluations and benchmarks
  • Delivering technical presentations
  • Capturing requirements and translating business needs
  • Authoring responses to RFI & RFPs
  • Promoting roadmap exchanges
  • Liaising with marketing
  • Staying current with competition

Requirements:
  • Pre-sales experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in enterprise storage, networking, or systems solutions
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
  • Experience in targeting new prospects
  • Knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
  • Knowledge of UNIX OS, NFS file systems, and UNIX distributed network environment
  • Knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture
  • Knowledge of VMWare, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • BS in CS, EE, or equivalent
  • Fluent English skills
