Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Collections Specialist to manage and optimize the collections process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The Collections Specialist will be the primary contact on the accounting team for both internal and external stakeholders around matters related to billing. The position reports to the Accounting Manager.What This Role Involves:
  • Efficiently manage the end-to-end collections process.
  • Implement effective strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
  • Manage and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Generate reports to track and analyze collection performance.
Requirements for this Role:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of A/R processes and billing systems.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Excel and Netsuite preferred.
