InterWorks is seeking a Data Architect to shape the future of data for its clients. The Data Architect will work with clients across industries to build robust data platforms, define standards, and implement governance frameworks. This role requires the candidate to be located in the Melbourne, Australia InterWorks office.Here's what the role involves:

• Architecting and implementing enterprise-level data solutions.
• Designing and optimizing data models and integration pipelines.
• Partnering with clients to develop scalable data platforms and analytics strategies.
• Creating and overseeing ETL/ELT processes.
• Serving as a strategic liaison between business and IT.
• Managing project timelines and stakeholder engagement.

InterWorks requires the following:

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or a related field.
• High proficiency in SQL and strong data modeling skills.
• Experience in data governance and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in client-facing environments.
• Adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with data lakehouse architecture.
• Support for data science initiatives.
• Understanding of pipeline and cost monitoring and optimisation
• Comfortable leading business engagements to source requirements or refine data models
• Experience with Azure & AWS CSP's preferable
