Senior Manager - UI/UX

Job Description

Inizio, a strategy consulting company specializing in Life Sciences, is seeking a Senior Manager - UI/UX to lead the design vision for its Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience and will be responsible for driving user research, designing UX frameworks, and mentoring junior designers.In this role, the Senior Manager will:

• Own and lead end-to-end UI/UX strategy for flagship products.
• Partner with product and business leadership to define user experience strategy.
• Drive user research and design discovery to generate actionable insights.
• Design and scale UX frameworks, design systems, and guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior designers.
• Review UI implementation and ensure pixel-perfect execution.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to solve complex interaction problems.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and design thinking sessions.
• Represent the voice of the user.
• Track and measure user experience improvements.
• Stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements for this position include:

• 12–15 years of proven experience in UI/UX design.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in a lead/principal/senior role.
• Demonstrated success in leading design efforts for data-intensive enterprise or SaaS products.
• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and other modern design tools.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent understanding of user psychology, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design strategy, user research, complex interfaces, and tangible business impact.
