Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their finance team in Montreal. This role is crucial for the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports. The analyst will engage in technical accounting analyses and contribute to various projects across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Preparing various analyses supporting the financial statements.
• Producing accounting analyses compliant with IFRS standards.
• Participating in internal and external audit processes.
• Improving the implementation of Workiva and Leasequery.
• Participating in special projects.

Requirements:

• CPA title or in the process of obtaining accreditation.
• At least 2 years of experience as an auditor, accountant, or finance professional.
• In-depth knowledge of the implementation of technical accounting associated with IFRS.
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting.
• Passion for technical accounting and desire to improve knowledge.
• Experience in situations requiring great attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
