Senior Associate - Legal

Job Description

Razorpay is seeking a Senior Associate - Legal to join their team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a Law Firm / Fintech/ Bank/ MNC. This role involves providing legal support and guidance to the company on a variety of matters, including general corporate law, product advisory, and contract negotiation.

• End-to-end contract negotiation (including IT contracts)
• Independently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Keep track of legal expenses and promptly notify seniors
• Maintain and periodically update MIS trackers
• Analyse legal aspects of new products related to the fintech space
• Provide timely support as a team member on a wide array of regulatory projects

Requirements:

• 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a Law Firm / Fintech/ Bank/ MNC
• Experience in general corporate, product advisory & end-to-end contract negotiation (including IT contracts)
• Strong communication and drafting skills in English
• Demonstrable understanding and experience in laws related to Employment Laws, Fintech-associated Laws, Digital Lending and Intellectual Property
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Fluency in MS Office and related tools
• A law degree (LL.B) from a reputed law school is essential
