Solar Project Manager

NextEnergy Group is seeking a Solar Project Manager to support the Construction & Procurement Team. The role involves supporting construction and procurement functions, bringing projects from early-stage development to contract negotiations, and overseeing project execution. The Project Manager will be based in either Spain or Italy and will support projects in Europe, LATAM, and North America.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an investment, development, or contracting environment and possess strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. They should also have a passion for sustainability and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management and execution of the Project Construction pipeline.
• Manage external Contractors and associated stakeholders.
• Coordinate the work of the Technical Advisor.
• Lead weekly monitoring meetings with Contractors.
• Provide co-ordination and support for critical workstream and information workflow.
• Collaborate with Group level Teams to support the delivery of Projects.
• Provide expertise and knowledge to enable the delivery of the early stage project development.

Requirements:

• Experience in Investment, Development and/or Contracting environment.
• Exposure to Commercial level negotiations.
• Ability to co-ordinate numerous individuals and workstreams.
• 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
• Excellent communication skills (in English or/and other European languages).
