Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

BDA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to be the primary owner of all networking technologies. The Senior Network Engineer will provide vision, design, project management, hands on interaction and team leadership. The role involves working within a talent-dense IT team and contributing to departmental goals.

Role involves:

• Configuring and installing network devices and services.
• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades.
• Monitoring performance and ensuring system availability and reliability.
• Working within established configuration and change management policies.
• Selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures.
• Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of proven hands-on network engineering experience.
• Expertise in designing network systems, including LAN, WAN, SDN, and WLAN configurations.
• Proficiency in advanced routing and switching protocols.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems, and network security protocols.
• Knowledge of cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills.
