Job Description
Vonage is seeking a Senior Security Product Manager to drive the security product strategy for its PaaS platform. This role involves working with product development, security engineering, legal, and customer teams to ensure the platform meets high security standards while maintaining usability and performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong product management expertise with deep security knowledge and the ability to translate security requirements into product features.
Role involves:
- Leading the vision, strategy, and roadmap for security features.
- Investigating cyber threats and implementing corrective actions.
- Defining a centralized Risk, Compliance & Security governance process.
- Designing and implementing security controls.
- Ensuring security is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in security products.
- Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and frameworks.
- Experience with security controls for PaaS or IaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP).
- Familiarity with security technologies (IAM, encryption, network security, threat detection).
- Background in software development or security engineering.
