Job Description

SonicWall, a cybersecurity company with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of SonicWall's cloud-based services, establishing solutions for building, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure of their cloud platforms.SonicWall follows a DevOps model, integrating development and operations teams for continuous deployments and collaborative solution development.Responsibilities:

• Develop automated deployment solutions for software and services on AWS.
• Shape enterprise software solutions using optimized CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, build, and support resilient, observable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure and security technologies.
• Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production.
• Develop management solutions for services across multiple cloud platforms and data centers.
• Mentor team members on technical decision-making and cloud engineering best practices.
• Collaborate on migrating applications to AWS.
• Participate in planning and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform technology evaluation and selection.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS.
• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• 2+ years of experience in scripting (Python, Shell).
• 2+ years of experience with containerization (Docker).
• 1+ years of experience with orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience managing databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments.
• In-depth understanding of deployment automation best practices.
• Experience using Git in a team environment.
• CS Degree or equivalent experience.
