Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a part-time Licensed Optician to join their team in Dedham, MA. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find the perfect eyewear. The Licensed Optician will become an expert in Warby Parker's brand and glasses, assisting both new and returning customers. They will collaborate with motivated individuals and have access to career-advancing resources.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
- Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear.
- Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
- Explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
- Help customers choose frames and lenses based on their needs and style.
- Collaborate with the team to improve sales and customer service practices.
- Represent the brand and educate others about its values and mission.
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
- Passionate about eyewear and retail.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Dedicated to customer satisfaction.
- Energetic and adaptable team player.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Open-minded and eager to learn.
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
